Columbus Day Bazaar
Saturday & Sunday October 8 & 9, 2011 10 am - 7 pm
The Saints Peter and Paul Church and School, across from Washington Square in North Beach at 660 Filbert Street, hosts an annual Columbus Day Bazaar. The Bazaar features games, food and good old-fashioned, low-tech entertainment for children and adults.
The Bazaar's amusements include a San Francisco landmarks mini-golf, pumpkin bowling, salami toss game, funny photos, cake booth, face painting, dunk booth and more. Food offerings include Italian sodas, beer, wine, foccacia pizza, grilled sausage sandwiches and more.
All proceeds benefit the educational and scholarship goals of The Saints Peter and Paul School (Grades Pre-K – 8) and The Saints Peter and Paul Church (services in English, Italian and Chinese). Saints Peter and Paul has been hosting the Bazaar in North Beach since 1919.
The Bazaar is staffed entirely by volunteers.
