Participating Family Requirements
To be recognized as a Participating Family, the following requirements are mandatory. Any unfulfilled requirements will result in placement to the Non-Participating Category effective immediately and the $2050 Non-Participating Fee will be assessed and due.
Eighth Grade Parents: All fees must be paid and all requirements must be completed by May 14, 2012. Any unfulfilled requirements will result in your child’s inability to participate in Graduation activities.
Participating Plan A
IIf you would like to be placed in the Participating Plan A category you will not be asked to solicit donations and you will not be asked to purchase scrip. You will be required to Participate in 30 Hours of Service to the School (9 hours [2 Shifts] must be completed at the Columbus Bazaar). Your fee for this category will be $ 1,000 ($750 for single parents) due by the 15th of September.
Participating Plan B
If your family opts for the Participating Plan B category you will be responsible for all fundraising, all donations and fees, the scrip purchase and 30 Hours of Service to the School (9 hours [2 Shifts] must be completed at the Columbus Bazaar). This is a pay as you go model.

Service Hours:
- 30 Hours (9 Hours Columbus Day Bazaar Mandatory)
Expenditures and Fundraising Requirements:
- Scrip Program: Verified Electronic Enrollment, $2000 Scrip Purchase (Gift Cards).
- Columbus Day Bazaar Fee: $20
- Columbus Day Bazaar Raffle Tickets required sales: $80
- 2 Columbus Day Bazaar Booth Donations - combined value to be no less than $100.
- Fall Fundraiser – Chocolate or Gift Wrap Sale: $120 minimum. In lieu of Fall Fundraiser, an additional $1200 in Scrip may be purchased to fulfill requirement.
- Spring Fundraiser: 2 Adult Tickets and 1 Child Ticket – $200
- 1 Spring Fundraiser Silent Auction Donation value to be no less than $50.
- Walk-a-Thon: $130 minimum pledge.
Single parent families must be registered with the PTO before receiving single parent benefits. Single Parent Family for participating Family Requirements are defined as one custodial parent that is solely responsible for all financial aspects (no other parental involvement).
Single Parent Families shall receive a discount in the following areas:
- Service Hours: 15 Hours (4 Hours Columbus Day Bazaar Mandatory)
- Scrip Program: $1000 Scrip Purchase (Gift Cards) or $150 Opt-Out Fee.
- Spring Fundraiser: 1 Adult Ticket and 1 Child Ticket – $100.
