Second Grade Supply List for 2011-2012

• 3 pocket folders … horizontal pockets, assorted colors
• 1 black composition book (Penway or Mead) … 100 pages, wide ruled, 9¾” x 7½”
• 1 cloth or sturdy soft plastic pencil case with zipper … no boxes
• 12 sharpened, #2 pencils (no mechanical pencils or fancy designs)
• 1 pink bevel eraser
• 1 package of assorted color construction paper, 12” x 18” … unbounded, individual sheets
• 1 box set of Crayola Colored Pencils, sharpened … 12 count, long
• 1 box set of Crayola Crayons … 16 count
• 1 pair of scissors … Fiskars, 5” blunt point
• 1 4 oz plastic bottle of Elmer’s white glue (School Glue or Glue All) with easy flow cap
• 2 .21 oz of Elmer’s glue sticks
• 1 large T-shirt or art smock
• 3 cloth book covers to cover school textbooks
• 1 box of Kleenex tissues
• 1 emergency backpack containing a complete set of extra clothes, 6 granola/protein bars, and a book. Please label the student’s name on the outside and on the bottom of the backpack.
