Kindergarten Supply List for 2011-2012
Please label the following items with the student's name.
- (2) pocket folders ... horizontal pockets, any design or color
- (1) box of Crayola Crayons ... 24 count (please reinforce the bottom of the box with tape) (Please note: A new box of 24 crayons will be required for each quarter of kindergarten)
- (1) set of Crayola Washable Water Color paints ... 8 colors with brush
- (1) pair of scissors ... Fiskars, 5” blunt point
- (1) backpack large enough to fit lunch box and folder for daily use.
- Emergency backpack with a complete set of extra clothes, a toy or book, and 6 granola/protein bars of your choice. The backpack must be large enough to fit the items listed.
The following items are shared by the entire class so please do not label these items with student’s name because they will be collected and shared all year.
- (12) sharpened, #2 pencils,(no mechanical pencils or fancy designs)
- (1) pack of assorted color construction paper, 9" x 12" or 12" x 18" (unbounded, individual sheet)
- (2) 4 oz. plastic bottles of Elmer’s white glue (School Glue or Glue All) with easy flow cap
- (2) boxes of Kleenex tissues
- (2) large or (4) small pop-up tubs of disinfecting wipes (Lysol, Clorox, Kirkland, or other brand)
Spanish & Music Class Supplies (for Ms. Konstin)
- (1) PLASTIC pocket folder for Music (labeled with name, grade and subject)
- (2) glue sticks (do not label with your child’s name)
Please bring all school supplies to Kindergarten Back to School Night on Monday, August 22nd at 5:30p.m. Please place school supplies in a bag labeled with child’s name.
Uniform Information/Guidelines
- Simply Uniform is the only store in which to purchase all uniform items.
- Kindergarten students are required to dress in School or PE uniform daily. Be sure to purchase all uniform items necessary. No substitutions allowed.
- School shoes are all BLACK, athletic rubber soled shoes with shoelaces (no high tops, lights, Velcro etc.). PE shoes can be the same as the school shoes or can be all WHITE athletics shoes with shoelaces.
